As the government shutdown continues, the airport has received many inquiries from across the airport community wanting to help MCO’s furloughed federal employees.
Here are ways you can help:
- Donate a $10 gift card for a gas station or grocery store. The value should not be over $10 and Visa/Mastercard/Cash are not acceptable due to federal gifting laws. Gift cards can be dropped off at Lost & Found, GOAA Executive Office Reception Desk or the GOAA HR Reception Desk.
- Continue food drive efforts to collect non-perishable food/toiletry/baby supply donations with your employees here at MCO. When you have completed your food drive, we will arrange to have Second Harvest Food Bank collect it. Email airportcommunication@goaa.org when your group’s donation is ready.
