JCDecaux is currently seeking an Operations Manager in Orlando, FL who will report to our Regional Vice President of Operations and will be responsible for operational related duties, as directed or not directed, to inspect, maintain and service advertising units within the airport while staying within the parameters of given expense budgets and following detailed instructions.
This is a full-time position based in Orlando, Florida and will be operating within the field.
Project management of the implementation of the new advertising program in Orlando and other projects that may come along in time. Meeting, surveying, monitoring progress and working directly with architects, engineers, contractors, and airport staff under the close supervision of the RVP of Operations.
Supervision is required of Maintenance Service Providers and specialty contractors at malls/airports that provide services to JCDecaux under hire in order to maintain high quality standards.
Responsible for keeping all advertising panels and JCDecaux assets operational and in excellent condition by partnering with sub-contractors, airport employees and other JCDecaux employees as required. General technical and digital (video) knowledge is required.
Work directly with Operations team on all aspects of Sales and Client support. This includes the planning, scheduling, tracking and follow up on multiple clients and campaigns daily.
Conduct surveys and inspections of advertising units to determine actual working conditions and implement repairs and follow up immediately to restore to 100% working condition. Confer with technical support staff to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
Follow up and complete tasks and requests by management resulting from property inspections. Verify postings of advertising campaigns and current conditions of equipment in the field.
Gather and submits proof of performance photos to the operations support staff in a timely manner and as required.
Maintain and deliver requested reports including the reporting of findings to management of actual conditions as well as to property staff. Extensive use of proprietary Mobops software to document findings.
Meet with management, subcontractors or airport management.
Coordinate and document all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual safety inspections of all JCDecaux assets and tools.
Oversee and maintain all tools, storerooms, and inventory items.
Any and all other duties assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in maintenance and digital and electrical procedures with technician “hands on” background
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a federal background check is a must. The position will require securing airport credentials that require passing federal background checks
Strong electrical, electronics (digital) and mechanical skills. Must be comfortable working with tools and equipment.
Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to analyze the overall maintenance process to suggest creative improvements that will increase efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and basic computer skills
