Overview:
The Station Staffing Coordinator will report to the Operations Supervisor and will be responsible for maintaining optimum staffing levels to ensure the safe and secure dispatching of the AC in key strategic locations.
Responsibilities:
Adjust staffing levels based on call outs and late flights in coordination with GSS and RSS
Monitor overtime and agent qualifications
Work to achieve cost efficiency by encouraging VTO during flight scheduling gaps
Contribute to building a Spirit Strong operation by supporting co-workers in their daily efforts
Successfully completes recurrent training
Contributes to a strong culture based on safety, integrity, high performance and pride of work
Track common issues received and collaborates with Operations Supervisor on potential solutions
May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate. (e.g. emergencies, IROP handling or Operational developments.)
Assist with station audits and compliance for both internal and external audits

Team members assigned work areas, approvals of work exceptions
Decisions this Role Participates in:
Managing Operational staffing issues in "irregular operation" situations, confirming required staffing levels
Functional Competencies:
Ability to work under pressure while multitasking
Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
Basic skills in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint with experience in excel
Must successfully complete new hire and initial station ops training
Basic understanding of budgets, scheduling and work rules
Robust analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and implement change
Comprehensive written and verbal communication, crafting messaging and expressing intent in a powerful and simple manner
Certificates/Licenses/Designations:
High School Diploma
Valid drivers license
1-3 years' experience in an Ops, Administration or related function
