Position Overview:
As a “wheelchair” supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and fostering a positive work environment with your team. You will be part of the frontline, leading the way with our dedicated individuals, driving productivity while upholding our company standards.
Responsibilities:
▪Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals.
▪Provide briefings to team members based on duties or flight assignments.
▪Create and manage employee schedules to include vacation coverage, sick time coverage or training coverage.
▪Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to company policies.
▪Communicate with vendors and airline partners to ensure compliance with their key performance indicators.
▪Maintain a safe and respectful work environment, enforcing compliance with A.D.A. regulations, safety regulations and company guidelines.
▪Provide frequent feedback to your team members and ensure everyone is performing effectively and efficiently at each duty assigned.
▪Conduct yearly performance evaluations.
▪Provide support in selecting “employee of the month” within the ramp department.
Requirements:
▪Fluent in English and Spanish.
▪Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
▪Work on holidays, nights, weekends and at times, extra or overtime.
▪Supervisory experience is welcomed.
▪Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage time in a fast-paced environment.
▪Problem-solving abilities approach to handling challenges.
